For folks like us, there never seems to be enough time in the day to do all of the things we need or want to do. There’s never been a time in my self-employment voyage when I DIDN’T wish the clock would slow down and give me a few more hours. (What do you mean it’s 6:00 already? How did that even happen??)

When life’s constantly in and out of “wait, let me just find that” mode, we lose precious time and focus. We dilute our days wading through files, re-doing things, finding images, mourning uncaptured ideas, and wrestling with the crush of email …which ultimately costs us thousands every year. I won’t even mention the new clients we could be helping if we put that time to better use.
People employed by someone else may not mind all of that, but we’re different. There are people out there who who need us. Our businesses can’t afford the luxury of disorganization.
I’d love to share the systems I’ve mastered that will change the whole game for you, and will let you invest that time in your clients and your passions instead.
A zillion megabytes of wonderful knowledge at our fingertips day and night, even when standing in line at the grocery store. Twenty-five years ago, if we’d known we’d some day have so much useful information so readily available, we would’ve been overjoyed, right?
We couldn’t have foreseen the crush of 1000 emails in our inbox, folders full of hundreds of documents and images, push notifications igniting our mobile phones every day, and the constant pressure to simply keep up with what’s possible and what’s out there to help us.
And we couldn’t have guessed that the stress, distraction, and disorganization could actually be KEEPING us from being more successful with our work and our businesses.
But what if we could keep the best of the digital age, and immunize ourselves against the worst of it?
We can. And I’ll show you a completely new way to take back your time that’s easy-to-learn, intuitive, and—like all my workshops—fun. In this series of six easily-digestible sessions, we’ll learn:
I’m Margaret Rode, and for more than 20 years I’ve been a business mentor and tech sherpa serving thoughtful solo practitioners, entrepreneurs, small businesses, and nonprofits.
I offer this training for a very selfish reason: I was a card-carrying digital clutterer for most of my life, and it kept me stuck. I tracked the time my disorganization was costing me, and was horrified. When I started teaching this topic, I noticed how much easier it was to digest and implement these great new habits when we did it as a group.
If I can help even one other person recapture the time and the peace of mind to do work that matters instead, I’ll consider that an awesome day. And I’m way into awesome days.
The sessions are 60 minutes, broken into 30 minutes of teaching (any more = brain strain) and an optional 30 minute Q&A/demo immediately following where we talk about this as a group and do a bit of hands-on. You’ll get:
